Match Play. Red leads 5-2 to 11. How should Red play 64?
With a slight edge in the race and the better home board Red must run with 22/16, 8/4. There is nice duplication of fives and fours.
8/4, 8/2 is much too passive as are all the other plays. After 22/16, 8/4, if this were a money game White would have a borderline double and Red a trivial take.
At this score White has a strong double but Red still has a very easy take as he has many different winning scenarios. Dropping the double would be nearly a double blunder.
