Match Play. Red leads 7-5 to 11. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?

What is an easy double and take for money becomes a borderline decision at this score.

That is because a gammon with the cube on 2 will give Red the match with perfect efficiency. The XG rollout has this literally on the borderline of take/drop. Your decision may well be influenced by your opponent’s skill level.

Of course, this is a massive double. Not doubling as Red is very nearly a double blunder.
