Unlimited Games. How should Red play 54?
Should Red make a run for it with 21/16, 5/1 or play safe?
There are times when you should just wait to see how things develop rather than try to force the issue and this position is one of them. 6/2, 6/1 is the best play. White may be forced to weaken his position on his next turn.
21/16, 5/1 is not technically an error but it is the wrong idea.
Crikey, Chris! 3 blots, and I might well see a nice little shot coming up... Did 6/1, 5/1 not appeal, then? Could you kindly let me know where my 'brainchild' came, in the scheme of things? Much obliged! Sid
I don't break the midpoint and I don't play to the ace point. What left is 21/12 or 21/16, 6/2. The former gives White less hit/covers and I think wins more gammons and single games. 21/12.
13/4.
