Money play. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?
The old adage is that all prime against prime positions are doubles and takes. That is not quite true here as third checker back for Red makes quite a difference because needing three sixes rather than the more usual two makes the position more difficult for Red and an immediate six may well not lose his market.
That difference makes this a no double and trivial take although doubling is only a small error. XG says that if 4 % of players would drop this double, and I think you could easily get one in twenty-five people to drop this double, then the double is correct in practice.
