Match Play. Red leads 6-2 to 11. Should Red redouble? If redoubled, should White take?

For money this is a strong redouble and whether you take or pass as White you would be making the right decision.

At the match score this would be a grossly premature redouble. White will need very little excuse to redouble to 8 and 8 points would get him to the Crawford Game.

All the warning signs are there for Red and that empty 4-pt is going to last a long time. He should bide his time and hope to give a much more efficient redouble later on.
