Red has threats but they are not overwhelming. The race is equal and all of White’s checkers are in play even if two of them are somewhat stranded.
The position is sufficiently volatile that Red can double but it is a borderline double and I wouldn’t blame anybody for waiting. White’s take is trivial and dropping would be nearly a triple blunder
