18/14, 18/13* leaves one fewer shot and, importantly, it is much easier to clean up the blots after that play rather than 18/13*/9 which gives White a good six. Look at the difference in White’s 62 after the two plays!

Interestingly the rollout has 18/13*/9 as very nearly a blunder. 18/14, 18/13* is the correct play here by a long way.
