Match Play. 2-2 to 7. Should Red redouble? If redoubled, should White take?

For money Red can take a roll and play on for the gammon or cash the game – the equities are identical.

At this score Red must play on for the gammon and the chance to get to the Crawford Game. If he doubles (which is a blunder) White has a trivial take because losing a gammon only costs him one additional point as Red can’t use all 8 points from a gammon win.
