Money Play. How should Red play 53?

There are two things Red should not do:

1) Break the five-point prime to hit with the 5.

2) Slot the back of the prime with 17/9 – too many gammon losses.

Red should get good outer board coverage with two intentions.

1) Making the 9-pt naturally

2) Bringing a checker on to the top of five-point prime and then use that checker to hit on the 3-pt.

The two best plays are 20/15, 17/14 and 20/15, 13/10. Everything is at least a blunder.
